I’m Ileenja Marina, originally from the Netherlands, now based in Marrakech after falling in love with Morocco and its rhythm of life. What started as a journey quickly became home.
Today, I photograph between places, capturing different stories wherever they unfold. From intimate moments to meaningful journeys, my work is rooted in emotion, connection, and the beauty of real life as it happens.

Everything BEGAN in 2017 with a camera and a passion for telling stories.
Guided by a mentor (Sophia van den Hoek from Unfolded) who truly believed in me, I officially started my own photography business alongside my communication studies. What began as a passion slowly grew into something more serious, laying the foundation for everything that followed.
2017: THE YEAR IT all
BECAME REALITY
The year my mentor took me to Marrakech for the first time.
I fell in love instantly. From that moment, my life changed deeply, from living in Spain to building a life based in Marrakech, traveling the world to capture love stories and create travel and lifestyle imagery.
